CNH Capital, the financial services company of CNH Global NV recently purchased by FIAT, works with some high-profile customers. In the interest of customer privacy, CNH Capital needed a way to screen confidential data from incoming applications while restricting access to that information.Additionally, because CNH’s credit, lending, and leasing structures are complex, its credit approval application process creates a high volume of documents with sensitive and important data. The company needed an efficient method to separate Maserati leases from commercial leases in their existing customer file cabinets in Feith Document Database.
Feith redesigned CNH’s document indexing process – a solution which fully integrates with the company’s existing Feith and IBM systems. This solution results in full automation of CNH’s lease application process. Feith also designed an enhanced lease application processing and approval workflow. Dealers fax in applications, the documents go into FDD, then FDD uses a redaction cartridge to automatically apply redactions based on document type. CNH configures the redactions on specific documents in specific document zones.
