Job Description:
Proposals are critical in the government procurement process. They serve as the primary means for communicating the capabilities, solutions, and value that a company can provide to meet government requirements. A well-crafted proposal can be the difference between winning and losing a contract, making it a vital component of our business strategy.

We are seeking a smart and self-motivated individual to join our team as Technical Proposal Writer. In this role, you will create compelling government proposals and technical documents, contribute to marketing content, and support sales efforts. You will need to rapidly translate complex technical information into clear and persuasive documents that meet the needs of our clients and support our sales team.

Our ideal candidate works well under tight deadlines and thrives in a high-stakes environment. Proposals are long documents, which often have short turnaround times. Responsibilities:

  • Write and develop highly technical sales proposals (chief responsibility).
  • Find and track sales opportunities from federal procurement databases.
  • Conduct research to understand complex regulations and technical requirements.
  • Create and edit marketing materials, including.
  • Proofread, edit, and coordinate changes to technical and marketing documents.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of our products/services and prospective customers.
  • Ensure the sales team has the necessary documentation to engage clients and drive sales.
  • During downtime, the candidate will assist the marketing team with various additional tasks, including writing brochures, case studies, and white papers; developing webinars, presentations, and marketing emails; and supporting events.

Feith Systems seeks a talented, personable, motivated, self-starting, responsible, and business savvy individual to join its Customer Success team.  The Customer Success mission is key to the success of the company.  In this role, the candidate will be working directly with new and existing customers across the Feith Commercial and Non-Profit Sectors.

A successful Account Manager must be entrepreneurial, sales oriented and customer retention focused.  He/she fills a critical role responsible for ensuring the success of Feith Systems’ new and established customers, driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.  In this role, the candidate will represent all things Feith Platform for strategic accounts, and interact closely with internal teams such as Success, Support, Project Management, Engineering and Marketing.

Through his/her business experience, relationship building skills, and understanding of customer context, he/she identifies ways to be an advocate for the platform to simplify and improve customers’ businesses and collect feedback from them to help drive product direction.

He/she engages and develops new opportunities and consistently follows up with customer requests for information while maintaining strong relationships with customers.  The candidate effectively participates in the sales process through consistent communication, impressive responses to both formal and informal RFIs and RFPs, and persuasive and exciting product presentations.  The Account Manager is responsible for learning and maintaining a deep understanding of the Feith Platform, understanding their customers’ businesses and needs, and driving upsell through consultation.

The successful candidate maximizes their results by advocating for the customer on a daily basis.  They continue to understand the customer’s business and evolving needs, empathizing with their problems and setting a plan to meet their requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop deep trusted advisory partnerships with Feith customers, and ensure customer success by collaborating with internal teams as necessary to build a real passion for the Feith Platform.
  2. Create referenceable customers, focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  3. Drive business cycles within established accounts covering all activities from opportunity identification to discovery and solutions.
  4. Demonstrate relationship-building skills, provide technical guidance with assistance of Success Managers, develop key account plans, drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), share roadmaps, and solicit feedback.
  5. Maintain relationships with all customer-facing internal and cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless customer experience from the very technical to the strategic business.
  6. Lead and coordinate complex, team selling efforts with internal Success Managers, Sales Engineers and External Partners.
  7. Create successful proposals and presentations in response to RFPs and other customer needs.
  8. Manage accurate data and record keeping in CRM tool.
  9. Successfully negotiate with partners and end-user customers, drafting Quotes, Proposals and Statements of Work.
  10. Contribute in project kick-offs to properly convey scope of work from SOW to the project team and celebrate project milestones.
  11. Review open projects with Project Managers through open line of communication, assisting in discussing Change Orders, Project Timeline adjustments, or other matters with Customer.
  12. Stay aware and coordinate with Success Manager activities, ensuring that requests are handled in line with the Customer SLA.
  13. Represent the Customer in product design or roadmap discussions, or in review of open feature requests or bug reports.
  14. Assist Director of Customer Success in Other Missions including:
    a. Coordination of on-site meetings, demonstrations, and trainings
    b. Customer audits and review for best practices
    c. Events and Customer community planning
    d. Web demonstrations or webinars
    e. Other items as needed

Compensation

  • Base salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

Technical Responsibilities

  • Document solutions that utilize the Feith software suite to meet identified business requirements
  • Provide Quality Assurance of developed solutions as well as solutions created by other developers on the team
  • Identify and alert management of changes to initial solution design from either customer requests or during the development process
  • Learn and demonstrate current baseline technical capabilities of the Feith software suite and participate in defining technical approaches to solving clients business needs
