Solutions Intern

Type: Temporary, Internship

The primary focus of this position is to perform consulting services for Feith clients by building and configuring business process solutions that utilize the Feith software suite. The internship includes the opportunity to work in collaboration with Solution team members to aid in building a solution that maximizes the suite’s capabilities to meet the customer’s expectations. Interns work in concert with the engineering and support departments and assist Solution developers to create, test and implement maintainable solutions that are consistent with the direction of the product suite.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Document solutions that utilize the Feith software suite to meet identified business requirements
  • Provide Quality Assurance of developed solutions as well as solutions created by other developers on the team
  • Identify and alert management of changes to initial solution design from either customer requests or during the development process
  • Learn and demonstrate current baseline technical capabilities of the Feith software suite and participate in defining technical approaches to solving clients business needs
  • Work closely with engineering and support to create maintainable solutions, communicate customer use cases and identify improvements to the software that could enhance the product or increase the velocity of developing customer solutions in the future
  • Provide technical and customer support for developed solutions as well as solutions created by other developers on the team

Java Programmer

Feith Systems and Software, Inc. is looking for a qualified individual to fill an opening in our Software Engineering Department as a Java Developer. We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and hard-working individual who desires to be part of a team. The individual must enjoy their work and be motivated to keep up with current technologies. Candidates will be programming a web-based application using Java, Spring, Vaadin as well as REST services in Apache CXF.

Qualified candidate must have:

  • At least a BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years Java programming experience
  • Experience with Spring 4 or later and/or Spring Boot 2 or later
  • Experience with the JDBC API
  • Experience with at least Java 8
  • Knowledge of relation database design and management principals

Support Engineer

Feith is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual with a desire to learn, a focus on collaboration, excellent technical skills, and communications skills to serve as a Software Support Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems hosting the Feith Software Suite.
  • Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
  • Provide support to IT systems including daytoday operations, monitoring and problem resolution for Feith implementations
  • Provide support for the ticketing system and remain involved in the resolution process.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Databases
  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure Cloud Environments
  • Ability to work well with others and contribute to team success
  • Ability to think critically and analyze problems to remediate issues in internal and customer IT environments
  • Some travel required

Required Skills:

Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester

The Software QA Tester checks new software and works with engineers to release quality products for our customers. We are a profitable engineering-focused company offering a lively, flexible work environment. Responsibilities

  • Test new features and changes in software, as well as verify the critical software functionality is working correctly
  • Report problems and suggest improvements to engineers in order to prepare software for release
  • Write and update functional and system test plans
  • Write release notes for new software
  • Write and update end user software documentation and product manuals

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Test a software product and get it ready for release
  • Sometimes switch between multiple testing projects
  • Record findings in software quality management system
  • Report to Senior QA Tester who assigns projects and provides training
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Engineering department

Solutions Developer

Feith Systems and Software is looking for a Software Solutions Developer.  The primary focus of this position is to perform consulting services for Feith clients by building and configuring business process solutions that utilize the Feith software suite. The developer will work in
collaboration with Feith project managers to determine customers business requirements and design a solution that maximizes the suite’s capabilities to meet the customer’s expectations. The developer will work with project managers to document customer requirements and supply estimation of development effort needed to provide the solution. The developer will work in concert with the engineering and support departments to create, test and implement maintainable solutions that are consistent with the direction of the product suite. Developers have the opportunity to create solutions that become part of the Feith product suite.

Technical Responsibilities:

  •  Conduct discovery to gather and document customer business requirements
  • Design and document solutions that utilize the Feith software suite to meet identified business requirements
  • Provide Quality Assurance of developed solutions as well as solutions created by other developers on the team

The SDR is an entry-level B2B/B2G Software Sales position, driving the new business relationship at Feith with decision-makers in key industries such as US Federal Government and the Fortune 1000. Your mission will be to reach out to prospects, qualify them and schedule demo appointments for the Account Executive. We sell directly to large enterprises’ management roles (IT, Records Management, Data Strategy, Compliance, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Use our CRM to explore Target Accounts and find potential contacts to reach out to
  • Call/email prospects to qualify them and schedule demos
  • Handle inbound leads and promptly connect with them to assess level of interest
  • Familiarize yourself with our products & services, as well as our competitive space to best position Feith as a leading solution

Basic Qualifications:

Account Manager - Customer Success

Feith Systems seeks a talented, personable, motivated, self-starting, responsible, and business savvy individual to join its Customer Success team.  The Customer Success mission is key to the success of the company.  In this role, the candidate will be working directly with new and existing customers across the Feith Commercial and Non-Profit Sectors.

A successful Account Manager must be entrepreneurial, sales oriented and customer retention focused.  He/she fills a critical role responsible for ensuring the success of Feith Systems’ new and established customers, driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.  In this role, the candidate will represent all things Feith Platform for strategic accounts, and interact closely with internal teams such as Success, Support, Project Management, Engineering and Marketing.

Through his/her business experience, relationship building skills, and understanding of customer context, he/she identifies ways to be an advocate for the platform to simplify and improve customers’ businesses and collect feedback from them to help drive product direction.

He/she engages and develops new opportunities and consistently follows up with customer requests for information while maintaining strong relationships with customers.  The candidate effectively participates in the sales process through consistent communication, impressive responses to both formal and informal RFIs and RFPs, and persuasive and exciting product presentations.  The Account Manager is responsible for learning and maintaining a deep understanding of the Feith Platform, understanding their customers’ businesses and needs, and driving upsell through consultation.

The successful candidate maximizes their results by advocating for the customer on a daily basis.  They continue to understand the customer’s business and evolving needs, empathizing with their problems and setting a plan to meet their requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop deep trusted advisory partnerships with Feith customers, and ensure customer success by collaborating with internal teams as necessary to build a real passion for the Feith Platform.
  2. Create referenceable customers, focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  3. Drive business cycles within established accounts covering all activities from opportunity identification to discovery and solutions.
  4. Demonstrate relationship-building skills, provide technical guidance with assistance of Success Managers, develop key account plans, drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), share roadmaps, and solicit feedback.
  5. Maintain relationships with all customer-facing internal and cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless customer experience from the very technical to the strategic business.
  6. Lead and coordinate complex, team selling efforts with internal Success Managers, Sales Engineers and External Partners.
  7. Create successful proposals and presentations in response to RFPs and other customer needs.
  8. Manage accurate data and record keeping in CRM tool.
  9. Successfully negotiate with partners and end-user customers, drafting Quotes, Proposals and Statements of Work.
  10. Contribute in project kick-offs to properly convey scope of work from SOW to the project team and celebrate project milestones.
  11. Review open projects with Project Managers through open line of communication, assisting in discussing Change Orders, Project Timeline adjustments, or other matters with Customer.
  12. Stay aware and coordinate with Success Manager activities, ensuring that requests are handled in line with the Customer SLA.
  13. Represent the Customer in product design or roadmap discussions, or in review of open feature requests or bug reports.
  14. Assist Director of Customer Success in Other Missions including:
    a. Coordination of on-site meetings, demonstrations, and trainings
    b. Customer audits and review for best practices
    c. Events and Customer community planning
    d. Web demonstrations or webinars
    e. Other items as needed

Compensation
