What You'll Learn

webinar series_new_shadow1

In November, President Obama released the Presidential Memorandum for Managing Government Records, a mandate to reform Records Management processes across all Executive Departments. Plans for compliance were then submitted to the National Archives & Records Administration by each Federal Agency, and on July 31, 2012, NARA, the Department of Justice, and the Office of the Attorney General will issue its Directive and Report to the President on how all Federal Agencies will be required to reform and improve their Records Management policies and practices.

So what does this mean for you, even if you are not a Government agency or are in the private sector?

Whether you're being mandated to reform by the Presidential Memorandum or being mandated by budget constraints and new RM requirements, change is coming. Having ideas and forming a plan are the easy parts. To implement your plan, you're going to need expert help. Join Tom Edwards LTC, USA (Ret) and our Feith Records Management Team in a roundtable discussion on next-generation Records Management and automation, how to prepare for the next steps in Records Management Reform, the latest on the White House Directive, and how to change the culture inside your organization or agency to prepare and comfort users and convince decision-makers ahead of implementation. We will guide you to a better understanding of how to turn ideas into actions through automation, cloud management, and more.

During this 45-minute webinar, you'll learn how new technologies can give agencies the flexibility to store and manage all records – from scanned and OCR’d paper documents, computer files, and email. See how simply your agency can satisfy the directive’s requirements - or augment your legacy applications - with solutions that offer a choice of in-house local storage or the ability to run in the cloud with auto-backups across the country.

And if you're not part of a Government Agency and don't think Records Management Reform will affect you, we'll explain precisely why that is not the case and what it will all mean to industries across the nation.
