The Quick Integrator (QI)

Feith's desktop automation software provides seamless connectivity between Feith's flagship product, Feith Document Database (FDD), and your legacy - or, "line of business" (LOB) - and server-based applications.

How It Works

• • QI links LOB and Windows applications to documents in FDD quickly, easily and without programming
  • QI allows you to integrate at a high level into Internet Explorer and then use the information displayed in the HTML Forms to fuel your business processes.
  • "Show Me The Paper" feature facilitates integration with such applications as Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, Lotus Notes, etc, enabling you to bring up associated documents in one click.

QI Enables Five Types of Leaps 

File Cabinet Leaps 

• • Leap from a document to a "folder" of related documents.
  • Leap within the same File Cabinet or to a different one.
  • Multiple Leaps can be defined per File Cabinet. 

Application Leaps 

• • Reverse Screen Scraping.
  • Leap from a Workflow File Cabinet back to the related screen in your LOB application. 

SQL Leaps 

• • Select data from anywhere in your database environment.
  • Insert, update or delete data anywhere. 

Highlight Leaps 

• • Highlight a text-based document, such as an invoice, PO or phone number and jump to a list of documents related to your highlighted item. 

URL Leaps 

• • Jump from any legacy/LOB screen to its related Web page, by automatically created the appropriate URL.
