Feith Systems and Software, Inc., is the FIRST corporation to be certified on the DoD 5015.2 Version 3 "Classified" RMA standard, which includes heightened security requirements that reach beyond the baseline standard. The DoD 5015.2 standard defines functional requirements that must be met by RMA products used by the DoD and its components. It is considered the benchmark for organizations that manage classified records and documents.

Feith provides both an online capability for examining archived electronic messages and a means of auditing the messaging retention system. Feith Document Database seamlessly integrates with Oracle Apps, J.D. Edwards, SAP, and other legacy - or, "line of business" (LOB) - applications. Using the FDD platform, organizations can now apply records management including email management standards to these applications.
Feith's Records Management advantage is that it allows organizations to use a single vendor to manage all data -- paper and electronic.
Features include:
- File Independence - Capture, archive, and manage electronic documents, Web content, email, and attachments. Manage both paper and electronic files.
- File Plan - Categorize all records in the system. Each category will have its own retention schedule, rules and security scheme.
- Records Schedule - Schedule if, when, and how a record should be disposed.
- Records Filing - Associate a new record with a category and assign metadata. FDD stores any record type, including email.
- Disposition - Triggered by time, event, or time-event, transfer or destruction is the method used to remove a record from the system.
- Legal Holds - In the event of litigation,, audit or regulatory action, documents can be placed on Legal Hold which prevents them from being deleted by the normal file disposer. Legal Holds are reviewed on a periodic basis to determine if they are still active.
- Audits - Track information, including user, time, and action, and write to the audit trail when an action occurs.
- Customizable Rules - Tailor the process by incorporating your rules and retention schedules.
