Problem
CNH Capital (CNH) is the financial services company of CNH Global N.V. CNH understands the need for flexible financial solutions; it is the leading global equipment financing organization and supports CNH Global's Case and New Holland family of brands worldwide. In 2006, Maserati North America Inc. and CNH Capital announced the formation of a captive finance unit, Maserati Financial Services. CNH Capital has become the dedicated source of financial services for Maserati North America's customers.
As you can guess, Maserati customers tend to be high-profile, and these financing applications house highly sensitive information. In the interest of customer privacy, CNH Capital needed a way to screen confidential data from incoming application documents, restricting access to that information to only those with the highest level of permission. Additionally, because CNH's credit, lending and leasing structures are varied and complex, its credit approval application process generates an extremely high volume of documents containing layers of sensitive and critical data. CNH also needed an efficient method to separate Maserati leases from non-Maserati leases or commercial leases inn their existing Customer File Cabinets in Feith Document Database.
Why CNH Chose the FEITH SOLUTION
Feith redesigned CNH's document indexing process, a solution which fully integrates with CNH's existing Feith and IBM systems. This implementation resulted in full automation of CNH's lease application process. Feith also designed an enhanced lease application processing and approval workflow based on transaction ID and new file cabinet field in FDD, and provided CNH the ability to configure redaction on specific documents in specific document zones.
